Terms of Service

Welcome to Tipr.gg (“Tipr.gg”, “we”, “us”). By using tipr.gg or our Chrome extension, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. The service
Tipr.gg is an ad-supported tipping layer for live streamers. Streamers post a tracked link; viewers click it; we serve them an ad through a partner ad network; the streamer earns a share of ad revenue.
2. Streamer accounts
- You must be 18+ (or legal age in your jurisdiction) to register as a streamer.
- One account per person. No bots, sock-puppets, or alternate accounts.
- You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Use a strong password and enable 2FA when available.
- You must not artificially inflate clicks (self-clicking, click-farms, paid traffic, incentivized non-genuine traffic).
3. Earnings & payouts
- Standard streamers earn 20% of ad revenue. Partners earn 50%.
- Earnings hold for 60-90 days before becoming withdrawable. This covers ad-network clawbacks.
- Cashout threshold: $200 standard, $100 partner.
- Payouts go to your verified PayPal email.
- US streamers earning $600+/year must submit a W-9. Other countries may require equivalent forms.
4. Acceptable use
You may NOT:
- Generate fake clicks (click-farms, bots, incentivized exchange traffic, etc.)
- Promote your link in spammy or deceptive contexts (chat spam, comment spam, paid clicks)
- Use Tipr.gg to support content that violates the streaming platform's ToS, ad-network terms, or applicable law
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the service
- Misrepresent your identity to viewers or other streamers
Violation may result in account suspension, earnings forfeit, and (for severe cases) referral to ad networks who may permanently ban you from their offerings.
5. Fraud detection & account actions
We monitor for invalid traffic patterns and reserve the right to:
- Reject specific clicks from being credited
- Hold or reverse earnings retroactively if an ad network claws back
- Soft-suspend accounts for review
- Permanently ban accounts after fraud is confirmed
6. The Chrome extension
The Tipr.gg Companion Chrome extension is optional. By installing it, you authorize:
- The extension to detect which Twitch channel you're currently watching (URL only, not chat or other content)
- The extension to send heartbeats to our backend so streamers can attribute supports back to you
- If you enable new-tab ads, the extension to open ad pages in new tabs when you open new browser tabs
You can disable any of these features in the extension settings or by uninstalling it.
7. Promotional credits
- Each promo type can be claimed once per streamer (lifetime).
- Partner-tier streamers cannot claim new promo credits.
- Submissions are reviewed by AI and/or staff; deceptive or fabricated submissions are grounds for ban.
8. Downline / recruiting
- You earn from the downline pool 7 levels deep on your direct and indirect recruits.
- Per-recruit annual cap: $1,000 to your network. Excess reverts to Tipr.gg.
- Fake recruits don't earn (they don't generate revenue), but creating fake recruits to game the structure is grounds for ban.
9. Intellectual property
We own the Tipr.gg brand, logo, and software. You own your stream content. By using Tipr.gg you grant us a limited license to display your handle, profile image, and aggregate stats on the platform (for streamer discovery, leaderboards, etc.).
10. No guarantees
Tipr.gg is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee uptime, specific earnings, ad fill rates, or that any individual ad network will continue to pay us. Ad-network changes can affect your earnings and we may need to swap networks at any time.
11. Termination
- You can delete your account anytime from the dashboard. We'll cascade-delete your data per the privacy policy.
- We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when reasonable.
- Pending earnings at termination time may be forfeit if termination was for cause.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tipr.gg is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of (a) $100 or (b) the amount we owe you in unpaid earnings at the time of the claim.
13. Changes to these terms
We can update these terms with 30 days' notice (via email and an in-app banner). Continued use after the notice period means you accept the changes.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction TBD upon company formation]. Disputes go through binding arbitration except where prohibited by law.
